Scrivener for OS X
Just in time for NaNoWriMo this year Ben introduced me to Scrivener for OS X last night.
Scrivener is best described by its author:
Designed for use by writers of all kinds, Scrivener is a virtual writing studio that integrates the processes of outlining, storyboarding, research and writing. It's a notebook. It's an outliner. It's a cork notice-board. It's a ring-binder. It's a place to store and cross-reference your research. It's a basic word processor. From first idea to first draft: Edit. Outline. Storyboard. Write.
A new beta version was released ~two weeks ago. The beta is currently free and the final version, expected in the firstp part of 2007, will be released as shareware.
While I obviously haven't used it extensively yet, my first impressions are quite favorable. I'd be happy to pay a reasonable price for this application once it is released.

In the November 2, 2006, entry, "Scrivner for OS X", the word Scrivner is spelled two ways; Scrivner and Scrivener. My guess is that the latter spelling is correct, but maybe they both are. If you can correct/update the entry, please either explain the two spellings or correct one of them.
